ABOUT PLAYA DEL CARMEN Playa del Carmen is located in the Yucatan’s Peninsula of Mexico. Situated on the Caribbean Sea, it is approximately 2250kms from the Equator. This Caribbean city, one of the fastest growing cities in the world, has the perfect location along the Riviera Maya. It is between the known city of Cancun and the hippie style town of Tulum. Playa del Carmen has the advantage of being in the middle and in front of the island of Cozumel, where we can find part of the world’s second longest barrier reef.
